2016 HOLIDAY HOUSEWALK & MARKET
18th Annual Holiday Housewalk & Market
A Great Success!
Thank you for your generous sponsorship of our 18th Annual Holiday Housewalk & Market. We want to thank you for the important role you played in our success. We exceeded our goals for sponsors and underwriting donations plus our Holiday Market generated more sales than ever before and we welcomed 1,500 event attendees to see five beautifully decorated homes. In the process, we raised over $80,000 for the critical medical, dental and behavioral health services the IWS Children’s Clinic provides to underserved children each year.

2016 Holiday Housewalk & Market Co-Chairs
Guests enjoyed tours of five (5) homes in the Oak Park and River Forest community that were festively decorated for the season. This year the five homes that were on the Holiday Housewalk represent the architectural heritage of Oak Park and River Forest with the strong Prairie School influence, the mid-20th century modernism and, of course, the distinctive lines of Frank Lloyd Wright design, are dramatically present.
Holiday Market - FREE Entrance
This year, the Holiday Market featured FREE ADMISSION to the community to shop both Friday and Saturday. The Market’s two floors of juried artisan vendors were the perfect place to find unique, one of a kind gifts and get a head start on your holiday shopping. View our Artisan Vendors.
Exclusive Tablescapes were on display at the Holiday Market with raffle drawing tickets available from members, online and at the event. Five lucky winners will receive the complete tablescape including handmade linens, china, glassware, flatware and even the centerpiece!

Frank Lloyd Wright Trust
We are proud to be a promotional partner with the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust "Home for the Holidays" event. The Frank Lloyd Wright’s home in Oak Park was open for free tours on Saturday, December 3. Decorated for the holidays with a spectacular tree, poinsettias, fresh flowers, evergreens and wreaths it is in keeping with the Wright family tradition.
We greatly appreciate the The Nineteenth Century Club for their generous contribution as a market sponsor.
