WORKING TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE OUR MISSION

Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society

Our Mission

The Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society (IWS) is a diverse member driven organization with an abiding commitment to assuring the health and well being of children. Through our Children’s Clinic, the IWS provides the highest quality medical, dental and social services to those who are unable to afford the cost of healthcare. The work of the IWS is powered by dedicated members and volunteers, a highly competent professional staff, generous donors, engaged partners and enlightened communities who share our view that sustaining he health of our children is a critical investment in the future.

Since its inception in 1916, the Society has been organized around "Circles", small groups of women who join together to support the IWS mission through fundraising and direct service volunteering. As we reimagine the next 100 years, the membership is expanding to include men, young adults, businesses and more to help us with Our Mission.
