About 1,500 people attended the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society's 13th Annual Holiday Housewalk & Market, held at the Koehneke Community Center, December 1-3, 2011. The weekend kicked off with the Sugar Plum Market Preview Party on the evening of December 1, with almost 300 attendees. A special thanks to the 2011 Chairs, Debbie Blanco, Janet Debits, Penny Egerter, and Jennifer GoodSmith for their hard work and dedication. The five featured homes in River Forest and Oak Park were simply spectacular, and we are grateful to the owners for opening their homes to us! See photos

12th Annual Holiday Housewalk & Market
About 1,500 people attended the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society's 12th Annual Holiday Housewalk & Market, held at the Koehneke Community Center, December 3-4, 2010. The weekend kicked off with the first annual Preview Party on the evening of December 2 with almost 300 attendees. A special thanks to the 2010 Chairs, Mary Anderson, Debbie Blanco, Alice Ireland, and Mary Lou Noll for their hard work and dedication. 3rd Annual Day at the Races About 200 people attended the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society’s 3rd Annual Day at the Races fundraiser to support The Children’s Clinic. Guests gathered at the Cheney Mansion, Saturday May 1, 2010 for the event, which featured a viewing of the Kentucky Derby, music by the band, Go Long Mule, and games of skill and chance. There was a silent and live auction, a hat contest and a raffle. Guests enjoyed southern style food and an open bar that included traditional derby cocktails such as Mint Juleps and Whiskey Sours.
